Goodbye Penjebar Semangat in Indonesia

It is internet age.

More mobile phone applications are developed. Many news outlets are sending news via their own applications to the subscribers. Many print medias are closing up due to the high cost of production.

Penjebar Semangat, a Javanese language print media is saying goodbye to the world. The falling of readerships is one of the important  reason.

The magazine which started on 3 September,1933 loses the charm to the younger readers especially, the Bahasa Indonesia is the dominant language.

If the media owner were creative enough, turn the print media into the internet media and make application for the rural area people to read the information in their own mother tongue, which is Javanese, of course, it is not using the original Javanese script any longer.

How to help to keep the language ? Give your comment in the comment section below.
