The convicted president of MUDA, Syed Siddig has announced resigned as the president of the party.
His president place is taken over by the deputy president, Amira Aisya.
Today, the high court handed down 7 years of jail, two strokes of cane as he is below 50 years, who can stand for canning. The judgement also said Syed has to pay 10 million fine.
He will appeal at the Appeal court before the next is the Supreme court.
