Taliban has been divided into two rival factions one led by Haqqanis and the other by Mullah Baradar amid a tussle over power sharing. But in Taliban game of thrones, Pakistan is favouring and backing dreaded terrorist subgroup of Taliban, the Haqqani network and has so far been successful in ensuring key posts for its favourites in new Taliban government. A report in a UK magazine 'The Spectator' has revealed how Pakistan is pushing for the marginalisation of Baradar camp, even suggesting that Mullah Baradar was held hostage by the hardliners. While Taliban infighting takes an ugly turn, one man who is missing from the scene is supreme leader Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada. Speculations are rife over his fate and there are even rumours of his death. Watch this report for more.
